Description

Air Fryer Apples are a fast, healthy snack or dessert that’s sweet, cinnamon-spiced, and ready in minutes. These tasty apple bites mimic the cozy flavors of apple pie filling but without the guilt or long prep time. Perfect for busy parents!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large apples (crisp varieties like Honeycrisp or Gala)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup (divided)
  • Pinch nutmeg (optional)
  • Non-stick spray (for air fryer basket)

Instructions

  1. Peel and cube two large apples into bite-sized pieces
  2. In a bowl, toss apples with 1 tbsp maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and cinnamon until evenly coated
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick spray
  5. Place apple cubes in air fryer basket in a single layer
  6. Avoid overcrowding so they cook properly
  7. Air fry for 10-14 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking
  8. Remove apples once they’re golden and tender inside with slightly crisp outside
  9. Toss with remaining 1 tbsp maple syrup for a sweet glaze
  10. Serve warm and enjoy

Notes

Choose firm apples to avoid mushiness. Use refined coconut oil to skip any coconut taste. Opt for sweet, firm apples like Pink Lady or Honeycrisp. Double the recipe if needed, but cook in batches to avoid overcrowding. Add dash of cloves or allspice for deeper flavor.
